The overall objectives are
the paleontological, chronostratigraphical and paleoenvironmental research
of the last 100 million years, focusing on the extinction events and paleoenvironmental
reconstruction of Cretaceous, Tertiary and Quaternary, based on high resolution
samplings and the study of microfossils (foraminifers) and macromammals.
